My name is Nicole, but back home most people know me as Marge. I grew up in rural North Dakota, on a farm about 20 miles from the closest town.

Growing up, I was a tomboy, but a city girl at heart. I did radio and television for three years in high school, before deciding to pursue journalism in college. Sophomore year, I transferred to University of Hawaii at Manoa where I now study "Digital Advertising Production" or a self-designed Interdisciplinary Studies major. 

​

My love for photography sprouted from a school project making an ad for Chobani Yogurt, springing me into photography, and digital advertising. 

​

A fun fact: most of my creativity and dreams are demo ads for everyday products.

Sol Snaps LLC

At Sol Snaps, my goal is to capture moments that show connections,  passions, life - not just someone's face. Originally, it was Marge's Media, but a rebrand in July 2025 brought about a new look and name. 

​

My photography style isn't defined by anything but a fun usage of light, hence the name Sol Snaps. My favorite prop? The Sun.

Why  me?

Sol Snaps is dedicated to making memories accessible and affordable, because everybody deserves memories that last a lifetime. My style isn't defined, as I edit according to the vibe of the shoot, but typically my strength is editorial work.

​

Also, being in advertising makes me think of unexpected ways to play with positioning and light, giving my creative brain an outlet, and you a one-of-a-kind experience.

​

I listen and plan concepts carefully, and the consultation is to make sure we have the same vision going in. If I don't think I can achieve your vision, I'll tell you.
